Founding of the company by Armin Zwahlen and Flöri Zwahlen-Hüni on 1 July in Saanen. The premises formerly served as a public reading room.
1955
Renovation of premises in Saanen
1962
Opening of store in Gstaad in the ‘Brunnehuus’. This was also the year in which we trained our first apprentices.
1980
Alexander Zwahlen and his wife Simone Zwahlen-Gagneux assume control of the company
1989
Construction of new premises in Saanen. This development expanded our retail space from 100 m² to 225 m².
1999
Renovation of premises in Gstaad
2010
Relocation from the ‘Brunnehuus’ in Gstaad to the ‘Villigerhuus’
2012
Opening of third store: ‘Le Trésor’
2015
Opening of bypass in Saanen and construction of an entrance to the new car park. General repair & renovation of the stores in Saanen, with new floors, racks and displays.
2019
Acquisition of Fuhrer Cigares Tobacco from Hans Fuhrer in Gstaad

Merger of the Le Trésor and Fuhrer Cigares Tobacco stores, and relinquishment of the branch in the ‘Villigerhuus’
